Our World Has Gone Astray

Our world has gone astray

It is not enough to pray

How should I spend my day?

The forrests are burning

The Pandemic not sparing

And many are starving

Rivers full of mud take everything

What the hell is happening

Our planet is dying

The whole world is a big mess

We cannot afford anymore selfishness

Maybe I can do with less

Homes are lost to rain

And entire savings go down the drain

How can we stay sane

Peace is losing

Hearts are breaking

How can I be truly caring

Well actually

This is the time to just Be

And learn to see

That the inward dive

Will keep our planet alive

And help humanity to thrive

Yes - blind faith the I asks of you

Until you know what to do

Without creating a zoo

Only the Light

Can set our Hearts right

And give us back our sight

So look inside your own ache

And heal for God`s sake

Because there is so much at stake

The goal is to make yourself whole

Then you can play the healing role

And help another soul

The solution is not wars

It is in getting rid of fears

Until there are no more tears

Invite the Devil in for tea

And respond lovingly

Until you against me become we

And NOW

Is the time to bow

And make that sacred vow

To surrender our arrogance

By giving the Higher Power credence

And ACT on its intelligence
